A Profile of Stern's Pools

Over 35 years ago, Cliff Stern started a small manufacturing business from a factory in Bondi Junction called Stem's Canvas Products. Initially, the product range included tents, tarpaulins, wading pools and cowboy suits. The business grew quickly and Stern's expanded its product range to include play equipment and above ground pools. In just a few years, Stem's had outgrown factories at Marrickville, Lakemba and Cabramatta.

Now situated at Lurnea in Sydney's south-west, Stern's Pools Pty Ltd is envied by its competitors for its Australian Design Award winning range of above ground pools. Stern's Pools has been a 'quiet achiever', establishing a manufacturing base for an above ground pool range which leads the market in overall appearance, strength and durability.

This factor has been recognised on the world stage as Stern's Pools have a rapidly growing export demand for its products.
